Michelle Ruane is a professional Make-Up Designer for both stage and screen. She graduated with an Honours Degree in Fine Art (Painting) in 2008 and has been working as a freelancer in the creative world since. She holds Makeup Artistry Accreditation with ITEC and FETAC. Prosthetics course with Puffjockey studios. She is based in Galway.

Michelle’s work has spanned from Make-Up Designer for Macnas Parades for ten years, to stage: Fibin “Mac an Bheatha”, “Cognadh na Saoirse”, “An Trial”, Bru Theatre: “Ar Ais Aris”, “The Libravian”, “Gol”, The Abbey, “Happy Days”, and screen with RTE: “Lets Find Out”, “Into the Burren”, Sky Documentry: “Vikings”, Fibin Media: “Samhlu”, “Ar Sceil”, and as Make-Up Artist on Martin McDonagh “Banshee of Inisheer”.
