This masterclass introduces the creative and technical aspects of digital video mapping for theatre and live performance, from conception and design to implementation. The class will discuss basic low-fi techniques using QLab to advanced techniques using MadMapper and Lightform.

This session is perfect for theatre-makers looking to understand what’s possible, or for designers looking to advance their technical skills. The first hour focuses on the possibilities of Projection Mapping for the Stage, and the second hour on technical skills.

Please note that during the first part of this masterclass there are samples of other artists’ work that have been muted or cut due to YouTube copyright issues. This doesn’t affect the overall content of the session. However, if you wish to avail of the full recording, please, email us at communications[at]ispd.ie.
