Valentina Gambardella

Originally from Sicily (Italy), I have been working in Ireland as costume designer and costume maker for theatre and performances for almost a decade.I hold a MA with honours in Visual Arts and Media Studies from Palermo University and following a sponsorship I moved to Galway to work in an Art Gallery. Eventually, I embraced my passion for fashion and textiles, I studied pattern making at Central Saint Martins, textiles at Crawford college and fashion design at MCDT.I have widely worked in the Arts’ field as a designer for theatre and performances and I am in the Committee for the The Irish Society of Stage And Screen Designers.Some of the people I work with are Corcadorca, Gare St. Lazare, Cork Opera House, The Everyman Theatre.
