Kata is an Art Director and Costume & Set Designer. Since 2018, she has been working as a Theatre Design Lecturer at ATU Sligo. She has a background both in theatre and film. In theatre, she’s collaborated predominantly as a costume designer for movement and is interested in costume as narrative generator. In the screen sector, Kata has collaborated as an Art Director, Production and Costume Designer on short and independent feature films, music videos and TV adverts.
She holds an MFA in scenography from The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (SVK), preceded by a Fashion Design Leaving Cert from Secondary School of Art and Design Trencin (SVK). Some of the projects she’s collaborated on were awarded; visit her portfolio for more info.
