Freya is a creative producer and designer for theatre and film with a vision for bold, experiential design. Whether working in established theatres, or transforming the bathroom of a rented apartment into an immersive set, she sees design as an opportunity for collaborative storytelling and world building.
Recent theatre credits include Suzy Storck, Smock Alley, Design Assistant for Anu and Landmark’s The Dead, and You’re Needy (Sounds Frustrating), offsite for Summerhall Theatre EdFringe, and Persona Metropolitana Smock Alley, nominated for Best Design Ensemble Dublin Fringe 2023.
In film, her experience has predominantly been designing for, and producing live performances and music videos. Recent credits include production design for STARE which premiered in GAZE International film Festival 2023, and Art Department Assistant for RTÉ Storyland’s SHUSH.
Freya has extensive experience in arts management and administration including work for Fishamble and the Irish Society of Performance Designers. She is a co-founder of the production company Greener Grass.
