Conor is a lighting designer and theatre-maker based in Dublin, with interests in Irish-language theatre, youth theatre, new musicals and dance. He has also designed lighting for a number of live music acts and worked as a production designer for film. He graduated with a BA in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies with Psychological Studies from the University of Galway in 2020, during which he completed an exchange to the University of California at Santa Cruz where he focused his studies on set and lighting design. Since then, he studied drama facilitation for youth theatre with Youth Theatre Ireland, graduating in 2023.
Some of Conor’s lighting design credits include Tart in the Mick Lally Theatre in 2022, Shauna Carrick Wants a Dog in Smock Alley in 2023, and Sorry You Felt That Way in the Project Arts Centre Cube in 2024.
