Ciara Murnane

Ciara is a Set, Activations and Event designer from Dublin. A graduate of the MFA in Stage Design in The Lir specializing in Set Design, she has designed shows across Ireland and the UK as well as a variety of bars, restaurants, events and activations.

Highlights include: ‘Warrior’ Dublin Theatre Festival 2023, Google Together at 20 RDS, ‘Sisters’ The Mill Theatre Dundrum, ‘Ah Hear Now!’ Podcast Stage Electric Picnic, ‘The Bingo Loco Panto’, ‘Disco Pigs and Sucking Dublin’ Smock Alley Boys School, ‘Ulysses’ The Abbey Theatre (Associate Designer), ‘Dummy’ Dublin Fringe Festival The Peacock, ‘Close to the Sun’ Dublin Fringe Festival Smock Alley, ‘Minding Frankie’ The Gaiety and The Everyman, ‘Happy Birthday Jacob’ The New Theatre, ‘Coast’, Dublin Fringe Festival, Project Cube.

In 2021 she won the Future Forecast Workspace Commission to design a space for three artists to work in Project Arts Centre Cube during Covid 19 restrictions.

She teaches Set Design in Trinity College Dublin’s Drama and Theatre Studies program as well as guest lectures in The Lir and IADT.
